What type of programming do you have?

Radio la Paz has entered into an affiliate agreement with Radio Amistad out of Houston, Texas. With the exception of those segments which we transmit in the Ngäbere language, we largely mirror the broadcast schedule of Radio Amistad. How large is your listening area?

We broadcast via a 5,000 watt AM transmitter at 1240 on your radio dial, via 98.2 FM at 1 megahertz and via the internet. Our signal reaches 180,000 potential listeners who reside largely on the Ngöbe-Buglé Comarca. We are the only Christian radio station serving this sector of Panamá.

How does Radio la Paz work with the other facets of Christianity Ministries?

By using a generator, along with Starlink, Radio la Paz simulcasts many of our other activities. By way of example, when we hold a crusade, Radio la Paz sends the signal from the very remote locations where we are hosting that crusade to our broadcast studio which is located in Tolé, Chiriquí. From there, 180,000 potential listeners can join the crusade, even though they are located long distances away. Further, via its working relationship with other Christian radio stations, Radio la Paz shares its transmission with other Christian radio stations such that we typically have around six Christian radio stations also simulcasting the crusade.

Do you see new converts as a result of this minsitry?

YES! In fact, that number reaches into the hundreds each year.

I’m so glad you asked! Radio la Paz is a major discipleship arm of our ministry. By way of the programming on Radio la Paz, we are able to disciple new converts and get them plugged into the life of the nearest church. Radio la Paz serves as a Christian lifeline for ALL!
