The Impact of School Outreach in Santa Cruz de Yojoa
During our recent ministry week in Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Honduras, we experienced God’s grace and power in extraordinary ways. Although the mission encompassed various areas—from soccer tournaments and medical clinics to the express construction of a church building in just five days—there was one very special effort that deeply touched our team’s heart: school outreach.
Open Hearts and Contagious Joy
With a Vacation Bible School (VBS) style program, we had the blessing of visiting four different schools in the area. From day one, we were welcomed with warm and unmatched hospitality. The children were waiting for us with faces full of excitement, ready to sing, play, and, above all, listen. Through interactive activities, Bible stories, worship songs, and so much more, we shared the clear and life-changing message of the Gospel. We encountered receptive children with open hearts and a pure readiness to embrace God’s love.
An Eternal Harvest in Numbers
Seeing each child pay close attention to the Word reminded us of the importance of sowing into the next generation. God exceeded all our expectations by the end of the week:
students listened attentively to the message of salvation.
children opened their hearts and decided to accept Christ as their personal Savior.
The seed of God’s Word has been planted in Santa Cruz de Yojoa, and we firmly believe it will bear fruit in due time in every life, family, and community.
