Light and Hope in Poptún:
127 Souls Healed and Transformed by the Love of God
In the heart of Poptún, Petén, we witnessed two truly wonderful and unforgettable nights. The presence of God backed us with unwavering power from the very first minute. Although spiritual warfare is always experienced in any work of the Kingdom, once again it was proven that the light of Christ always triumphs over any darkness.
One of the most moving aspects of these gatherings was seeing the Indigenous community come together. Many women attended proudly wearing their traditional clothing, filling the place with color, identity, and dignity. Historically, these native communities often face marginalization and social exclusion, but the Gospel reminds us that God shows no partiality. They are also in deep need of the Father’s love, and seeing them surrender at His feet reaffirmed that the cross makes us all equal and embraces us as one.

A Special Blessing for the Little Ones
During the crusade, we experienced unforgettable moments dedicated to the next generation. We hosted a special program for the children, which we enjoyed just as much as they did. Through praise songs, interactive games, joyful smiles, and teachings from God’s Word, the love of Jesus was planted in their hearts in a vibrant and meaningful way.
The Holy Spirit comforted, encouraged, and healed hundreds of thirsty hearts. The greatest fruit of these two nights was witnessing entire families surrender at the feet of the Savior: counting both children and adults throughout the crusade, a total of
127 people made the decision to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
“I brought a group from my community… and no one left the same”
“I arrived at the crusade with a heart full of faith, bringing along a group of people from my community and my young son. I didn’t know exactly everything God would do, but He far exceeded every expectation: for the glory of God, every single one of them was saved! Seeing my neighbors surrender their lives to the Lord was deeply moving, but seeing my own son make the decision to give his heart to Jesus was the greatest gift of the night. God didn’t just touch our community—He completely transformed my family.”
A Heartfelt Thank You
None of this would have been possible without the body of Christ working together in unity. We want to express our deepest gratitude to the local pastors, leaders, and congregations in Poptún, who poured out their time, effort, and hearts into the logistics to make these nights a reality. Your selfless service was essential in preparing the way for the Holy Spirit to move.
We also extend our sincere thanks to every partner, intercessor, and supporter who stood with us from afar. Your faithful prayers, encouraging words, and generous gifts were the spiritual and physical foundation behind every life touched and every one of the 127 decisions for Christ. This victory belongs to you as well!
